Lecture classes will be held on the 3rd floor of the Wellness Center.  Yoga and Pole Fitness classes will be held in the studio behind the Wellness Center.

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Yoga:  Hip Openers –
Yoga postures to help open up the hips and alleviate back and hip issues.  This class will include standing and sitting postures, breathing and mediation.  Open for all fitness levels, yoga beginners and advanced yoga students.

Yoga:  Shoulder Openers –
Yoga postures to help open up the shoulders and alleviate shoulder and neck issues.  This class will include standing and sitting postures, breathing and meditation.  Open for all fitness levels, yoga beginners and advanced yoga students.

Candlelight Yoga:  Restorative – Yoga postures to rejuvenate and alleviate issues in the body.  Postures will be held with props for several minutes to open and release tension in the body.  Open for all fitness levels, yoga beginners and advanced yoga students.

Aromatherapy – The art of smell has been used throughout time.  Come and learn what therapeutic grade essential oils are and can do to make your day and those around you life’s better and brighter.  Week One – What and how aromatherapy affects you.  Week two – Different ways to use essentials oils for specific purposes.  Week three - What oils you can blends or use single oils.  Week four – Emotional responses to oils and how to trouble shoot problems.  Week five – Play with oils.  This class is hands on.  Week six – Questions and answers and what oils everyone should have available for most common problems.

Meditation – Come join classes that can increase your concentration, help heal your body and raise your energy level, no prior mediation experience necessary.  Mediation benefits the mind, body and spirit.

Healthy Eating –
Based on the Chinese 5 phase theory, it covers the nutritional value of foods and the best way to get the maximum nutritional value from them.  In addition there will be recipes and tips on how to quickly prepare healthy meals.  Healthy eating is the simple way to get complete nutrition with colorful foods.
