David Bledsoe, LMT

A former school teacher in both Texas and Missouri,  has a broad range of massage experience to offer.  Since graduating in August 2006 from School of Massage Arts located near Springfield, Missouri,  he has practiced massage full time for 5 years in  both Lebanon, Missouri and  the Lake of the Ozarks area.  Some of that work included being the massage in a gym environment on top athletes seeking maximum performance.  The experience at the gym also helped hone David's skills of massage on aching weight lifters and  weekend warriors. On the lighter side,  David also practices more relaxing techniques as applied through 4 years of experience in a major lake resort. He is a firm believer in massage and it's many modalities. CORE Bodywork is a deep tissue technique that David has specialized in by obtaining 48hrs of  NCBMT certified CEU's  in this remarkable type of bodywork.  This CORE body work technique works specifically with the fascia  to release deep restrictions in the body created by old emotions or scar tissue from severe injuries such as whiplash.  This kind of deep tissue work can allow the body to move toward correct posture which in turn relieves aching muscles that were straining to hold us up.  He has even seen great results on clients suffering from spinal disorders such as scolliosis or disk problems.

Gloria Baker, LMT

I started my passion for bodywork in 1989 through aromatherapy.  In 1991 I was trained by a Navajo women how to feel the joints of the body for alignment.  At the age of 23 my mom suggested I start doing massage.  Shortly after I moved to Sedona, AZ and practiced massage while learning the different modalities.  I moved to Jefferson City, MO 1998 to be closer to family.  I attended Metro Business College in 1999 for Administrative Assistant and 2002 for Massage Therapy, graduating both with honors.  I have been in the field of Massage Therapy for the past nine year’s full time and loving it.  My continued education includes Pilates on the ball, chair massage and parties, Reiki, Lymphatic Drainage, Cranial, Deep Tissue and the joy of Young Living Oils.  In 2007 it was my dream to create Therapeutic Touch Wellness Center for the enjoyment of empowered individuals to release stress caused by life in a healing comforting environment.  It has taken 20 years of education and life to live my dream every day.
